Overview

The Big Data Lab focuses on research at the intersection of Systems, Algorithms and Machine Learning and is led by faculty at the NYU Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences and the NYU Stern School of Business. We work on developing scalable and adaptive big data platforms for real world applications that can automatically learn and predict different phenomena from highly diverse, sparse and noisy data sources. Our group works on several big data application domains including health, education, crowdsourcing, urban informatics and business analytics.
